“Doctor Strange”, one of the many new superhero films that will appear during the “Phase 3” series of films for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has established quite the cast of actors. From Benedict Cumberbatch as titular character Stephen Strange / Doctor Strange to actress Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One to actress Rachel McAdams and actor Mads Mikkelsen in undisclosed roles, the film is pact with a variety of talent. However, being a movie that will no doubt include action galore, it seems only appropriate that action star Scott Adkins, known for his work in “The Expendables 2” as the character Hector, would help round out the cast.
The synopsis is as follows:
After Stephen Strange, the world’s top neurosurgeon, is injured in a car accident that ruins his career, he sets out on a journey of healing, where he encounters the Ancient One.
Nothing is known about Adkins role yet but, based off him previously playing Yuri Boyka in 2006’s “Undisputed II: Last Man Standing” and 2010’s “Undisputed III: Redemption”, it is almost without a doubt it will be a primarily physical role.
“Doctor Strange” is scheduled to be released on October 28, 2016 in the United Kingdom and November 4, 2016 in North America in IMAX.
