Vincent Van Gogh has always been an point of interest to fans of artist and history. Recently though he’s gotten a couple movies devoted to him. Last year was the breathtaking film Loving Vincent that portrayed part of the painter’s story with the animation emulating Van Gogh’s painting style. Now, a live-action film titled At Eternity’s Gate is set to hit theaters with Willem Dafoe taking on the role of the famous painter. Not only does Dafoe look like the spitting image of Van Gogh, but the film itself looks to be an artistic endeavor worthy of the real-life artist. Check out the new trailer for it below:
At Eternity’s Gate co-stars Rupert Friend, Oscar Isaac, Mads Mikkelsen, Mathieu Amalric, Emmanuelle Seigner, and Niels Arestrup. It is directed by Julian Schnabel (Who co-wrote the script with Louise Kugelberg and Jean-Claude Carrière). It is set to hit theaters November 16th.
