Last year, actor Timothée Chalamet got his big break with Call Me By Your Name. This year, he seems to wish for a second Oscar nomination as his new film Beautiful Boy fits the mold of an award season contender. The synopsis is as follows:
The film chronicles meth addiction and recovery through the eyes of a father (Played by Steve Carell) who watches his son Nic (Played by Chalamet) as he struggles with the addiction.
