Bombshell Debuts Official Trailer #2

Earlier this year, Russell Crowe took on the role of infamous, former Fox News chairman Roger Ailes in the well-received limited series The Loudest Voice. While that series dealt with the the sexual harassment and workplace harassment scandal surrounding Ailes from his perspective, the upcoming film Bombshell will be told from the perspective of the women who were his victims and who brought him to justice. In addition, it is said to be a revealing look inside the most powerful and controversial media empire of all time.

The film will focus on the perspectives of real-life figures Megyn Kelly (Played by Charlize Theron) and Gretchen Carlson (Played by Nicole Kidman). In addition, Margot Robbie will be playing the made-up role of associate producer Kayla Pospisil, said to be based on an amalgamation of several women in smaller roles at the network.

With the film gaining traction for the upcoming award season due to early rave reviews, the second trailer for the film has been released today. Check it out below:

Bombshell co-stars John Lithgow in the role of Ailes. It is directed by Jay Roach and is set to hit theaters December 20th.
