Some of the best work that Eddie Redmayne and Jessica Chastain have done in film are true stories so combined for a true story could equal a potent drama. That’s why it’s exciting to hear that Redmayne and Chastain will team-up for the The Good Nurse, set to be penned by Krysty Wilson-Cairns and directed by Tobias Lindholm.
The story centers around Charlie Cullen, a nurse that is regarded as one of the most prolific serial killers in history, nicknamed the Angel of Death. Allegedly, Cullen is responsible for the deaths of almost three-hundred patients over almost two decades. He was eventually caught when a brave fellow nurse risked everything to aid some Newark homicide detectives in tracking down his crimes and catching him.
Redmayne is set to play Cullen while Chastain will play the nurse who helps police bring him down. The film itself seems intriguing and with this cast, it has potential. Stay tuned!
