Sally Field has been playing backseat lately in a lot of her movies. Even in 2012’s “Lincoln”, for which she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards, we found her serving as the emotionally-ill wife of Abraham Lincoln. Still she has always been a fighter, ever since she won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her 1979 film “Norma Rae” in which she led a labor union against compromising health issues in a textile factory.
However, Miss Field is dropping the political movements to show her pure acting skills with “Hello, My Name is Doris” about a woman in her sixties who has a romantic relationship with a younger co-worker. Sally Field stars as the title character Doris Miller and actor Max Greenfield, who is currently known for his Emmy-nominated role of Schmidt on the American sitcom television series “New Girl” (2011-Present), plays her young love interest John Fremont.
