Netflix’s The Dragon Prince TV Series Releases First Poster

When it comes to shows and films, it’s not just the premise that will get people or even the way the story unfolds. It also has to do with how the creative forces tell that story with their styles. The new animated Netflix show The Dragon Prince is one such example. It’s a story that follows a trio of young heroes in a fantastical land beset by war – two human princes, and the unlikely elfin assassin tasked with killing them – as they find themselves together on a journey to bring peace to their homes.

Simple enough, but the creative forces are the interesting part as the show comes from Aaron Ehasz, a former head writer from the show Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Justin Richmond…who previously served as director of the highly acclaimed video game company Naughty Dog. Turned out, this duo has recently formed a new studio, Wonderstorm, and The Dragon Prince is their first project under the new label.

While the show is set to hit the streaming service in September, today we have the first poster for the show with a trailer set to come soon after it premieres at Comic-Con. For now, check out the new poster below:
