Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Video Game Debuts Official Reveal Trailer, Confirms Release Date

Yesterday saw the arrival of a leaked poster for the upcoming game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (See it here). Naturally it got fans curious with the potential of the first single-player Star Wars game in quiet awhile. Not only that, but unlike the recent Star Wars games, it’s usual developer Entertainment Arts (EA) has resigned itself to simply publishing the game while Respawn Entertainment (Known for the Titanfall franchise) would be developing it. Now, after speculation, this weekend at the Star Wars Celebration (Which also confirmed the title and released the teaser trailer for Episode IX), it’s now been confirmed about Fallen Order with not only a reveal trailer, but an official release date announced of November 15th this year. Firstly, the official banner for the game was also released below, identical to the leaked poster we got yesterday:

As for the reveal trailer, check it out below:

It should be noted the actor who is taking on the role of Cal Kestis appears to be Cameron Monaghan, known for his role of Ian Gallagher on the U.S. version of the show Shameless as well as the bizarre take on the Joker on the show Gotham. Still, between those two roles you see the potential for a very diverse actor and it’s further demonstrated in the trailer which confirms the story will follow a Padawan trying to survive the Jedi purge that occurred at the end of the film Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. If the gameplay lives up to the above trailer, we might finally get the Star Wars game this generation deserves.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is set to be available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
