Star Wars: The Clone Wars TV Series Announces Revival, Debuts Trailer #1

One of the best pieces of media to come from the prequel era of the Star Wars universe was easily the computer animated show Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Sadly, the show ended on a cliffhanger at the end of it’s fifth season. Created by George Lucas, the show premiered back in 2008 with Dave Filoni serving as the show’s supervisor. Filoni went on to be a showrunner on Star Wars Rebels which ended it’s run earlier this year.

This weekend at Comic-Con the show had a panel celebrating the 10 year anniversary of the show. During that event, Lucasfilm announced the show is set for a revival to finish the original vision of the show. It will be brought back with 12 all-new episodes that will debut on Disney’s upcoming direct-to-consumer streaming service (Currently called Disney Streaming Services LLC). Filoni will return and sees the revival as a chance to allow him to put the final pieces of the story into place. With that announcement came a new trailer for the revival which you can check out below:
