Kate Bosworth and Tyler Hoechlin. Two actors who have hopped around the spectrum of Hollywood more than most. Bosworth had a brief period where she was in everything, even taking her own turn as Lois Lane in 2006’s Superman Returns before slowly fading into smaller films and obscure projects. Hoechlin started out young in his breakout role as Tom Hanks’ son in 2002’s Road to Perdition. He would go on to co-star in the popular MTV show Teen Wolf and also had a recurring role as, irony, Clark Kent/Superman in season 2 of Supergirl. But again, he sort of has faded out in the last couple years.
Still, seems appropriate then that a version of Lois and a version of Clark would play husband and wife in the upcoming post-apocalyptic film The Domestics. A film that is definitely on the obscure side, set to hit theaters June 28th (So…this Thursday) before immediately being available on video-on-demand on June 29th (So…this Friday). The synopsis is as follows:
In a terrifying post-apocalyptic world inhabited by gangs divided into deadly factions, a husband and wife race desperately across the countryside in search of safety and must work together as they are pushed to the breaking point in order to survive.
The Domestics is written and directed by Mike P. Nelson. Check out the new trailer for the film below:
