The Hole in the Ground Debuts Official Trailer

The upcoming horror film The Hole in the Ground clearly impressed the studio A24 pretty early on. Despite just being released at Sundance, the film already is set to be released in theaters on March 1st. This faith seems to have been paid off as the bizarre film currently has an 86% on Rotten Tomatoes. As a reminder, the synopsis is once again featured below:

Trying to escape her broken past, Sarah O’Neill (Played by Seána Kerslake) is building a new life on the fringes of a backwood rural town with her young son Chris. A terrifying encounter with a mysterious neighbor shatters her fragile security, throwing Sarah into a spiraling nightmare of paranoia and mistrust, as she tries to uncover if the disturbing changes in her little boy are connected to an ominous sinkhole buried deep in the forest that borders their home.

While a UK trailer got released a couple weeks ago (See it here), A24 has now brought official marketing to the US with a new domestic trailer. Check it out below:

The Hole in the Ground is directed by Lee Cronin (Who co-wrote the film with Stephen Shields).
